METHOD AND DEVICE FOR DETERMINING DEPTH OF FLOODWATER

Embodiments of the present application is a method for determining the depth of floodwater. The method comprises: at a preset distance to a flooded area, acquiring image information of a flooded road, then, analyzing the image information to produce spatial position of the edge of floodwater, next, acquiring the grade of the road and determining, by means of a certain policy, a road position corresponding to where the maximum water depth is located in the flooded area, and finally, determining the maximum floodwater depth of the flooded area on the basis of the spatial position of the edge of the floodwater, of the grade of the road, and of the road position corresponding to where the maximum water depth is located. Implemented is a terminal measuring the depth of the floodwater of the flooded area without having to wade through the water, thus avoiding risks to the terminal brought forth by wading.
