The present invention also relates to a process for the synthesis of said layered double hydroxide and uses thereof. La présente invention concerne un hydroxyde double lamellaire comportant au moins un cation divalent AII ou alternativement LiI, au moins un cation trivalent BIII sélectionné dans le groupe constitué de VIII, CoIII, CrIII, MnIII, FeIII, GaIII et des lanthanides. La présente invention concerne également un procédé de synthèse dudit hydroxyde double lamellaire et ses utilisations.
