Zusammenfassung:	The system of the present teachings for maintaining an unobstructed pathway through which sensors can capture data. The system includes at least one stationary wiper assembly, at least one movable shield assembly housing the sensors, and at least one barrier assembly protecting the interior of the stationary assembly and the movable shield assembly from environmental contaminants. Le système de la présente invention permet de maintenir une voie non obstruée à travers laquelle des capteurs peuvent capturer des données. Le système comprend au moins un ensemble d'essuie-glace fixe, au moins un ensemble de protection mobile logeant les capteurs, et au moins un ensemble barrière protégeant l'intérieur de l'ensemble fixe et l'ensemble de protection mobile vis-à-vis des contaminants environnementaux.
