Zusammenfassung:	Provided are Lactobacillus gasseri CCFM1133 and a use thereof for relieving and treating hyperuricemia. Lactobacillus gasseri can reduce serum uric acid levels as well as serum and liver xanthine oxidase (XOD) activity in hyperuricemic mice, and reduce the occurrence of hyperuricemia and gout; furthermore, Lactobacillus gasseri is capable of regulating the blood sugar and serum triglyceride (TG) levels of hyperuricemia patients, increasing the activity of liver catalase (CAT) and glutathione peroxidase (GSH-Px), increasing the expression of ileum ABCG2, promoting the excretion of intestinal uric acid, and increasing the intestinal short-chain fatty acids levels, which promote health.
