IMAGE PROCESSING METHOD AND RELATED DEVICE

Disclosed in the present application are an image processing method and a related device, which are used to support the display of HDR images, provide the display of more dynamic ranges, image details and richer colors, enabling user experience to be improved. The image processing method comprises: acquiring a first RGB image, the first RGB image being an RGB image perceived by an image capture device; converting the first RGB image into a second RGB image, the second RGB image being an image that satisfies a BT2020 color gamut range; determining a first brightness value corresponding to the second RGB image, the first brightness value reflecting the maximum brightness of each image frame in the second RGB image; determining a target image according to the first brightness value and the second RGB image; and sending the target image to a display device, so that the display device displays the target image.
