Provided are a magnetic modulation ring structure, a magnetic gear assembly and a composite electric motor. The magnetic modulation ring structure comprises a plurality of modulation units, wherein two adjacent modulation units are connected by means of a connecting portion to form the magnetic modulation ring structure that is arranged in an annular gap enclosed by a first rotor structure and a second rotor structure; and each modulation unit is provided with a recess structure that is formed on the side facing the first rotor structure, with two sides of the recess structure respectively forming an arc-shaped shoe portion. The present disclosure solves the problem in the prior art of reduced output torque of a magnetic gear assembly, the reason being that an iron core on a magnetic modulation ring is of a quasi-rectangular structure, which causes a limited magnetic field modulation effect of the magnetic modulation ring having the quasi-rectangular structure and heavy magnetic leakage between iron cores.
