METHOD FOR IMPLEMENTING 3D PDF DRAWING FROM 3D MODEL OF PLANT

The present invention relates to a method for implementing a 3D PDF drawing from a 3D model of a plant and, more specifically, to a method for implementing a 3D PDF drawing from a 3D model of a plant, the method departing from a conventional method using paper to print a 3D model of a plan created in a plant engineering step, so as to enable a drawing to be searched for or viewed on a mobile device without a separate drawing printed on paper, and thus can be easily applied to an ordering company and construction. Provided is the method for implementing a 3D PDF drawing from a 3D model of a plant, comprising the steps of: (a) extracting 3D shape and attribute data from 3D model created using a 3D model program for a plant; (b) formatting the extracted 3D shape and attribute data in a PRC format; (c) setting a predetermined rule to segment the 3D shape and attribute data formatted in the PRC format, and thus display a single 3D PDF; (d) converting, into a segmented 3D PDF, the 3D shape and attribute data for which the predetermined rule is set; and (e) displaying the segmented 3D PDF on a screen.
