Zusammenfassung:	The purpose of the present disclosure is to provide a method for producing a lithium-nickel complex oxide, the method being capable of suppressing a variation in crystallite size. The method for producing a lithium-nickel complex oxide according to an aspect of the present disclosure comprises: a filling step for filling a firing container (7) with a Ni-containing metal compound and a Li compound to obtain a filling material (5) including the Ni-containing metal compound and the Li compound; and a firing step for firing the filling material (5) that fills the firing container (7), wherein, in the filling step, when the filling material (5) that fills the firing container (7) is divided into two equal parts in the height direction, the molar ratio A of Li to metals other than Li in the filling material (5a) in the upper half region and the molar ratio B of Li to metals other than Li in the filling material (5b) in the lower half region satisfy 1
