A gate layer (20), a first protective layer (30), an active layer (40), a source and drain layer (50), a second protective layer (31), and a pixel electrode layer (60) are stacked together on the substrate (10). The display panel further comprises a light blocking layer (70) disposed on the second protective layer (31) at a location corresponding to the active layer (40). The light blocking layer (70) is externally connected to a fixed electrode, and is used to block a channel location on the active layer (40). The light blocking layer (70) and the pixel electrode layer (60) are made of the same material. Since the light blocking layer (70) added on a channel of the active layer (40) is made of the same material as the pixel electrode layer (60), no new material needs to be added during manufacturing processes, and the light blocking layer can be prepared together with the pixel electrode layer without needing to add another m
