The silicon solar cell preparation method comprises: preparing a silicon wafer; and carrying out a solar cell piece manufacturing process on the silicon wafer to form a solar cell piece, wherein the solar cell piece manufacturing process comprises performing a film forming step on the silicon wafer, and the silicon solar cell preparation method further comprises forming a groove for cracking in the silicon wafer before the film forming step, and the film forming step comprises a step of forming a thin film on the side of the silicon wafer where the groove for cracking is formed. The preparation method can improve photoelectric conversion efficiency of the solar cell after the solar cell is split into small pieces.
