Grayscale conversion processing is performed on data to be displayed, such that for grayscale values of data to be displayed in different display areas on the display panel (10), different gamma curves are used to map the grayscale values, so as to obtain display voltages that can be used to control the display brightness of the display areas. The display method comprises: step 101, according to display areas to which data to be displayed belongs, performing grayscale conversion processing on the data to be displayed to obtain grayscale values of the data to be displayed; step 102, using different gamma curves to respectively perform mapping processing on the grayscale value of data to be displayed corresponding to a first display area (1011) and the grayscale value of data to be displayed corresponding to a second display area (1012) to obtain a first display voltage and a second display voltage, wherein
