Zusammenfassung: | The present invention concerns a multi-spectral device (10), comprising:- an imaging component (2), arranged to image at least a part of the full spectral light-field emitted by at least one object point of an object and for setting an input signal comprising a range of incidence angles on an optical filter (3);- said optical filter (3), having a transmission function depending on the incidence angle and of the wavelength of the full spectral light field, so as to transform said input signal into an output signal comprising a spectral distribution associated to an angular distribution; said optical filter being a coded optical filter (3), so that said spectral distribution and/or said angular distribution depend(s) on a spatial location on said coded optical filter (3);- a spacer (4) between said coded optical filter (4) and an image plane, arranged to transform said spectral distribution of the output signal into a spatial distribution on an image plane.This multi-spectral device is adapted to be integrated in a small, compact and/or handheld (mobile) device, as a smartphone and also to deliver high resolution images.The invention concerns also an imaging system (100) which is a compact twin camera device. The invention concerns also a system for identifying an object, classifying an object and/or detecting at least a property of an object, based on data collected by the multi-spectral device. The system allows an information retrieval in real-time on the limited computational resources of a mobile device, by using a machine-learning module.
