The method comprises: according to evaluation values in descending order, equally dividing a near-infrared spectrum waveband, which needs to be screened, into elite groups, ordinary groups and garbage collection groups; choosing to generate a new waveband in an elite group or an ordinary group, a wavelength point of the new waveband choosing a wavelength point from a random waveband in the chosen group, and the wavelength point of the new waveband inheriting the chosen wavelength point; the inherited new waveband choosing a learning behavior or exploration behavior once by means of a set probability, so as to update its own wavelength point, and generating candidate wavebands; and choosing, from the elite group, a waveband with the highest evaluation value, and taking same as a waveband to be screened.
