| Zusammenfassung: | An information search method and apparatus, a search gateway, and a storage medium, which relate to the technical field of the Internet. The method comprises: receiving a first search request sent by a terminal, and acquiring first search request information corresponding to the first search request (201); modifying the first search request information in response to a need to degrade the first search request and that first service data corresponding to the first search request information is not present in a cache, so as to obtain second search request information, second service data corresponding to the second search request information being present in the cache (202); according to the second search request information, acquiring the second service data corresponding to the second search request information from the cache (203); and returning the second service data to the terminal (204).
