Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zur Herstellung eines Hohlkörpers aus amorphem Metall. Das Verfahren umfasst die Schritte: a) Bereitstellen einer metallischen Zusammensetzung, die geeignet ist amorphes Metall herzustellen, b) Schmelzen der Zusammensetzung gemäß Schritt a), um eine Schmelze zu erhalten, c) Einbringen der Schmelze nach Schritt b) in eine Kavität einer Gussform, wobei die Gussform einen Innenkern umfasst, wobei zumindest ein Teilbereich der Mantelfläche des Innenkerns durch ein Abtrennelement umschlossen ist, und wobei das Abtrennelement nicht an dem Innenkern befestigt ist, d) Abkühlen der Schmelze in der Gussform, um ein Formstück aus amorphem Metall zu erhalten, e) Entfernen des Innenkerns und des Abtrennelements vom Formstück nach Schritt d), um einen Hohlkörper aus amorphem Metall zu erhalten.
