PIT LADDER DEVICE FOR ELEVATOR

A pit ladder device for an elevator equipped with an elevating body that is vertically moved in a hoistway and a guide rail that is installed in the hoistway and guides the vertical movement of the elevating body, the pit ladder device being installed in the hoistway and used for workers to move up and down between the pit surface of the hoistway and a landing, the pit ladder device being characterized by comprising: a lower ladder that is fixed to the pit surface at the lower end, and disposed at a height that does not cause a collision when the elevating body is moved to the lowest floor, at least partially overlapping the vertical projection plane of the elevating body; an upper ladder that is disposed on the upper side of the lower ladder, supported by the lower ladder, at least partially movable, and connectable to or separable from the lower ladder; a rotary mechanism that is provided between the lower ladder and the upper ladder, supports the upper ladder, and allows the upper ladder to be moved between a storage position, where the upper ladder does not overlap the vertical projection plane of the elevating body in the hoistway, and a use position, where the upper ladder is used in connection with the lower ladder; and an engagement portion that can connect or separate the lower ladder and the upper ladder from each other at the use position.
