PROCESS FOR THE PREPARATION OF HEXAMETHYLENEDIAMINE BY HYDROGENATION OF ADIPONITRILE IN THE PRESENCE OF RANEY NICKEL AND A BASIC CO-CATALYST

The present invention relates to a process for the preparation of hexamethylenediamine by hydrogenation of adiponitrile in the presence of a Raney nickel catalyst and a basic co-catalyst containing potassium hydroxide, wherein the basic co-catalyst contains a further basic compound selected from the group consisting of alkaline hydroxides, alkaline earth hydroxides and ammonium hydroxides. La présente invention concerne un procédé de préparation d'hexaméthylènediamine par hydrogénation d'adiponitrile en présence d'un catalyseur au nickel de Raney et d'un co-catalyseur basique contenant de l'hydroxyde de potassium, le co-catalyseur basique contenant un autre composé basique choisi dans le groupe constitué par les hydroxydes alcalins, les hydroxydes alcalino-terreux et les hydroxydes d'ammonium.
