TRAVELING APPARATUS

Disclosed is a traveling apparatus, comprising: a vehicle frame (110), a wheel body (120), a rotating shaft (130), and a brake component (140). The wheel body is rotatably provided on the vehicle frame. The wheel body is used for rolling on a supporting surface. The rotating shaft is connected to the vehicle frame. The brake component is rotatably provided on the rotating shaft. The brake component can be rotated to an idling position forming a gap with a working surface of the wheel body and can be rotated to a braking position to be in contact with the working surface of the wheel body. The working surface is the surface of the wheel body capable of contacting the supporting surface. When the brake component is at the barking position, braking of the traveling apparatus can be implemented with the brake component contacting the working surface; obviated is the need for an operator to directly step on a mudguard to implement braking, thus preventing a kick scooter from swaying as a result of the operator ste
