This management system comprises: a detection device 30 provided with a body 31 having a shape that can be installed in a discharge port, an electrode 54 that is provided to the body 31 and that is a detection unit for detecting a liquid, and a communication device 53 that functions as a transmission unit for transmitting information relating to a detection result from the detection unit; and an estimation device provided with a reception unit that receives the information transmitted from the transmission unit, and an estimation unit that estimates the state of liquid discharge from the discharge port on the basis of the information received by the reception unit.
