A METHOD FOR APPLYING THERMOCHROMIC PIGMENT BASED SOLUTION TO TEXTILE PRODUCT

The invention is a method for imparting a thermochromic property to a textile product and it relates to preparing a thermochromic pigment based coating solution and applying said solution to textile surfaces. More specifically, said method comprises the process steps of preparing a solution comprising a complexing agent, a catalyst, polyvinylpyrrolidone (PVP), methanol, pure water, tin (IV) chloride pentahydrate and stearic acid, aging the prepared solution by allowing it to stand for a period of time, then adding thermochromic pigment to the solution and mixing, mixing again after the addition of thermochromic pigment until a homogeneous solution is achieved, applying the resulting solution to the surface of textile product, removing the solvent and drying the surface of the textile product in order to achieve gelling, includes the process steps of obtaining the thermochromic textile product. Thermochromic textile products produced with this method are also within the scope of the invention. L'invention concerne un procédé pour conférer une propriété thermochromique à un produit textile et concerne la préparation d'une solution de revêtement à base de pigment thermochromique et l'application de ladite solution sur des surfaces textiles. Plus spécifiquement, ledit procédé comprend les étapes de procédé consistant à préparer une solution comprenant un agent complexant, un catalyseur, de la polyvinylpyrrolidone (PVP), du méthanol, de l'eau pure, du chlorure d'étain (IV) pentahydraté et de l'acide stéarique, vieillir la solution préparée en la laissant de reposer pendant une certaine période de temps, puis ajouter un pigment thermochromique à la solution et mélanger, mélanger à nouveau après l'ajout de pigment thermochromique jusqu'à ce qu'une solution homogène soit obtenue, appliquer la solution obtenue sur la surface du produit textile, retirer le solvant et sécher la surface du produit textile afin d'obtenir une gélification, comprenant les étapes de procédé consistant à obtenir le produit textile thermochromique. L'invention concerne également des produits textiles thermochromiques produits à l'aide de ce procédé.
