Zusammenfassung:Disclosed is a 5th generation (5G) or pre-5G communication system for supporting a data transmission rate higher than that of a 4th generation (4G) communication system such as long term evolution (LTE). A method for operating a core network in a wireless communication system, according to the disclosure, comprises the steps of: determining content to be stored in a terminal on the basis of position information about the terminal; transmitting a transmission command for the content to a base station so that the content is transmitted to the terminal in response to the determination; confirming whether the terminal enters an overload cell; and, if it is confirmed that the terminal enters the overload cell, forming a D2D communication link between other terminals adjacent to the terminal.
