In the cutting tool according to the present invention, the hard coating film, which is composed of a monolayer or multilayer structure, is formed on a base material, wherein the hard coating film comprises a layer composed of an oxide, wherein in the layer composed of an oxide, the oxygen content of an edge center of the cutting tool is higher than the oxygen content in an area distanced from the edge center by 50 µm or more.
La présente invention concerne un outil de coupe constitué d'un matériau de base dur, tel qu'un carbure cémenté, un cermet, une céramique et un nitrure de bore cubique, et d'un film de revêtement dur formé sur le matériau de base dur. Dans l'outil de coupe selon la présente invention, le film de revêtement dur, qui est composé d'une structure monocouche ou multicouche, est formé sur un matériau de base, le film de revêtement dur comprenant une couche composée d'un oxyde. Dans la couche composée d'un oxyde, la teneur en oxygène d'une partie centrale d'arête de l'outil de coupe est supérieure à la teneur en oxygène dans une zone éloignée de la partie centrale d'arête de 50 µm ou plus.
