This antenna installation structure comprises an antenna substrate, an insulator layer, and a joining material. The antenna substrate comprises a dielectric substrate that has a first main surface and a second main surface, and an antenna conductor and a ground conductor that are formed on the first main surface, and that are separate from each other. The insulator layer abuts the first main surface of the antenna substrate. The joining material is placed between the insulator layer and an emission side wall of a housing, and abuts the insulator layer and the emission side wall.
