METHOD FOR PRODUCING PEPTIDE COMPOUND

The present invention addresses the problem of providing a method for efficiently producing a peptide and provides a method for producing a peptide, said method comprising: step (1) for mixing an N-protected amino acid or an N-protected peptide with a carboxylic acid halide represented by formula (I) (wherein: X represents a halogen atom; and R1, R2 and R3 independently represent an optionally substituted aliphatic hydrocarbon group, provided that the total number of carbon atoms in R1, R2 and R3 is 3 to 40); and step (2) for mixing the product obtained in step (1) with a C-protected amino acid or a C-protected peptide.
