The method comprises: during data query, receiving a data query request, the data query request specifying data ranges of multiple dimensions, and obtaining spatial distribution information of multi-dimension data, the spatial distribution information recording a data range of multiple sub-spatial objects associated with the multi-dimension data in each dimension; and determining, according to the spatial distribution information of the multi-dimension data, in the multi-dimension data, a block satisfying the data ranges of multiple dimensions specified by the data query request, and searching the determined block for data satisfying the data ranges of multiple dimensions specified by the data query request.
