ELECTRONIC DEVICE AND METHOD FOR PROVIDING USER INTERFACE

An electronic device is disclosed. The electronic device comprises: a display; a communication module; a processor operatively connected to the display and the communication module; and a memory operatively connected to the processor, wherein the memory stores instructions which, when executed, cause the processor to: receive, from a second external electronic device through the communication module, information relating to a time interval and user interface information, which are related to a response to a user utterance input to a first external electronic device; identify whether the display is in an active state in the time interval; and on the basis of the identification of the display in the active state in the time interval, providing, through the display, a first user interface corresponding to the user interface information.
