Zusammenfassung:	A method of forming a cut in a polymeric component includes providing a blade assembly including at least one blade, and a mandrel. The mandrel includes a rigid portion and a conformal support ring. The conformal support ring includes a material softer than the material forming the blade. A polymeric component is located between the mandrel and the at least one blade. The polymeric component is cut via the at least one blade. The at least one blade extends into the conformal support ring after the at least one blade has penetrated through the polymeric component. Un procédé de formation d'une découpe dans un composant polymère comprend la fourniture d'un ensemble lame comprenant au moins une lame, et un mandrin. L'unité flexible comprend une portion rigide et une bague de support conforme. La bague de support conforme comprend un matériau plus mou que le matériau formant la lame.
