METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR ACQUIRING VIRTUAL OBJECT DATA IN AUGMENTED REALITY

Provided are a method and apparatus for acquiring virtual object data in augmented reality, the method including identifying at least one exposed component from three-dimensional image data corresponding to a target device, the exposed component being exposed to a view from outside of the target device, identifying a type of the target device from the three-dimensional image data corresponding to the target device, determining at least one main direction of the target device based on the type of the target device, and acquiring virtual object data for representing an appearance of the target device based on the at least one exposed component and at least one main direction. La présente invention concerne un procédé et un appareil d'acquisition de données d'un objet virtuel dans une réalité augmentée, le procédé consistant à identifier au moins un composant exposé à partir de données d'une image tridimensionnelle correspondant à un dispositif cible, le composant exposé étant exposé à une vue depuis l'extérieur du dispositif cible, à identifier un type de dispositif cible à partir des données de l'image tridimensionnelle correspondant au dispositif cible, à déterminer au moins une direction principale du dispositif cible sur la base du type de dispositif cible et à acquérir des données de l'objet virtuel pour représenter un aspect du dispositif cible sur la base du composant ou des composants exposés et d'au moins une direction principale.
