According to the invention, the control arrangement calculated the creep between the parts from the displacement between them when there is no control command. Condition monitoring utilizes long-term monitoring. La présente invention concerne un procédé et un agencement dans la surveillance de condition d'écart dans les dispositifs de fonctionnement d'un ensemble à point commandé de flèches dans une machine de chantier, l'ensemble de flèches comprenant plusieurs parties consécutives (10, 14, 16, 18) conjointement avec des dispositifs de fonctionnement (101, 142, 162, 182), et des capteurs (S0...S5) se trouvant dans lesdites parties consécutives de l'ensemble de flèches, agencés pour mesurer des variables sélectionnées, et la machine de chantier comprenant un système de commande (C) pour commander les dispositifs de fonctionnement en utilisant les données fournies par les capteurs (S0... S5). Les données de position P1(t), P2(t), P3(t),... Pn(t) des parties de l'ensemble de flèches sont calculées à partir des mouvements des parties, et une instruction de commande donnée par l'opérateur est convertie en direction et vitesse de mouvement du point de l'ensemble de flèches. Selon l'invention, l'agencement de commande calcule le fluage entre les parties à partir du déplacement entre celles-ci lorsqu'il n'y a pas d'instruction de commande.
