Zusammenfassung:A joint (20) comprising a first member (10); a second member (12) connected to the first member (10) such that a groove (22) is formed between the first member (10) and the second member (12); and a hollow seal (18) comprising a shrinkable material, the seal (18) being shrinked from a static expanded state (24) into the groove (22) by stimulation of the shrinkable material such that the seal (18) seals the groove (22). A motor (34) and an industrial robot (38) comprising a joint (20), and a method of installing a seal (18), are also provided.
