The method comprises: during access of a terminal device, obtaining device identification information and device characteristic information thereof; performing identification in at least one of the following identification modes: searching a device information database for device information associated with the device identification information of the terminal device; and matching the device characteristic information with a predetermined regular rule set, and obtaining device information according to the matching result.
