PREFORM DESIGN FOR LIGHTWEIGHT CONTAINER

A preform configured to form a container by stretch blow molding. The preform includes a finish portion and a tip portion. The finish portion is at a first end of the preform and is a container finish of the container. The tip portion is at a second end of the preform opposite to the first end. The tip portion is configured to form a container base and a container heel of the container. An outer surface of the tip portion includes a flat surface, a first radius on a first side of the flat surface, a second radius between the first radius and the flat surface, a third radius extending from the flat surface on a second side of the flat surface, and a fourth radius extending from the third radius towards the second end of the preform through which a longitudinal axis of the preform extends. L'invention concerne une préforme conçue pour former un récipient par moulage par étirage-soufflage. La préforme comprend une partie de finition et une partie pointe. La partie de finition se trouve au niveau d'une première extrémité de la préforme et est une finition de récipient du récipient. La partie pointe se trouve au niveau d'une seconde extrémité de la préforme en regard de la première extrémité. La partie pointe est conçue pour former une base de récipient et un talon de récipient du récipient. Une surface externe de la partie pointe comprend une surface plate, un premier rayon sur un premier côté de la surface plate, un deuxième rayon entre le premier rayon et la surface plate, un troisième rayon s'étendant à partir de la surface plate sur un second côté de la surface plate, et un quatrième rayon s'étendant du troisième rayon vers la seconde extrémité de la préforme à travers laquelle s'étend un axe longitudinal de la préforme.
