Zusammenfassung:	A water immersion detection method, which is used for an electronic device that comprises a touch screen. The method comprises: performing ultrasonic detection in an environment in which the electronic device is located; and extracting a description feature of an ultrasonic signal from the ultrasonic detection result, and if determined that the electronic device is located in water according to the description feature of the ultrasonic signal and a pre-stored parameter table, turning off a touch response function of the touch screen of the electronic device, wherein the parameter table comprises a correspondence between the description feature of the ultrasonic signal and the environment in which the electronic device is located. Thus, when the electronic device is immersed in water, the touch response function of the electronic device may be automatically turned off to prevent accidental touch.
