METHOD FOR DETERMINING CARRIER AGGREGATION CAPABILITY OF TERMINAL, AND RELATED DEVICE

The present application discloses a method for determining the carrier aggregation (CA) capability of a terminal and a related device. The invention reduces the number of CA combinations reported by a terminal, and avoids the problem that a base station cannot parse all the CA combinations reported by the terminal, thereby avoiding compatibility problems, and guaranteeing the success rate of the terminal accessing a network. Said method comprises: a terminal receiving CA information concerning a cell sent by a network device, the CA information comprising a CA frequency band list where a secondary cell of the cell is located or a first CA combination list supported by the cell; and the terminal determining a second CA combination list according to the CA information sent by the network device and a CA combination supported by the terminal itself, and then sending the second CA combination list to the network device, the second CA combination list being used by the network device to determine the CA capability
