USE OF AT LEAST ONE HEMO-PEROXYACETAL, ALONE OR IN COMBINATION WITH OTHER PEROXIDES, TO PROMOTE POLYMERISATION OR COPOLYMERISATION OF ETHYLENE UNDER HIGH PRESSURE

The present invention relates to the use of at least one peroxide chosen from the group consisting of hemi-peroxyacetals, alone or in combination with one or more different additional peroxide(s), for radical polymerisation or copolymerisation of ethylene under high pressure. The invention also relates to a method for preparation of polyethylene, comprising a step of radical polymerisation or copolymerisation of ethylene under high pressure in the presence of at least one peroxide chosen from the group consisting of hemi-peroxyacetals, alone or in combination with one or more different additional peroxide(s). The present invention also relates to a composition comprising ethylene, at least one peroxide chosen from the group consisting of hemi-peroxyacetals, and optionally one or more additional peroxide(s) other than hemi-peroxyacetals. La présente invention concerne l'utilisation d'au moins un peroxyde choisi dans le groupe constitué par les hémi-peroxyacétals, seul ou en association avec un ou plusieurs peroxyde(s) additionnel(s) distinct(s), pour la polymérisation ou la copolymérisation radicalaire sous haute pression de l'éthylène. L'invention se rapporte également à un procédé de préparation de polyéthylène comprenant une étape de polymérisation ou de copolymérisation radicalaire de l'éthylène sous haute pression en présence d'au moins un peroxyde choisi dans le groupe constitué par les hémi-peroxyacétals, seul ou en association avec un ou plusieurs peroxyde(s) additionnel(s) distinct(s). La présente invention est aussi relative à une composition comprenant de l'éthylène, au moins un peroxyde choisi dans le groupe constitué par les hémi-peroxyacétals, et éventuellement un ou plusieurs peroxyde(s) additionnel(s) distinct(s) des hémi-peroxyacétals.
