PROCESS FOR THE TREATMENT OF LYOCELL FIBRES

The present invention relates to a process for the treatment of lyocell fibres, comprising the step of contacting the fibre with at least one treatment medium, at least one treatment medium containing an amount of a crosslinking agent, wherein the cross-linking agent is capable of crosslinking cellulose under alkaline conditions and has a solubility in water at 20°C of 20 g/l or less, and further comprising the step of treating the fibre with the cross-linking agent under alkaline conditions, characterized in that the cross-linking agent is added to the fibre in the form of a suspension or in solid form. The present invention also relates to lyocell fibres obtainable by the process of the present invention. La présente invention concerne un procédé de traitement de fibres lyocell, comprenant l'étape consistant à mettre en contact la fibre avec au moins un milieu de traitement, au moins un milieu de traitement contenant une quantité d'un agent de réticulation, dans lequel l'agent de réticulation est capable de réticuler la cellulose dans des conditions alcalines et a une solubilité dans l'eau à 20 °C de 20 g/l ou moins, et comprenant en outre l'étape de traitement de la fibre avec l'agent de réticulation dans des conditions alcalines, caractérisé en ce que l'agent de réticulation est ajouté à la fibre sous la forme d'une suspension ou sous forme solide. L'invention concerne également des fibres lyocell susceptibles d'être obtenues au moyen du procédé de la présente invention.
