The purpose of the present invention is to provide an excellent storage container for a biomaterial which is capable of reducing sample loss by inhibiting adhesion of small amounts of a biomarker included in the biomaterial to the surface of the storage container, and of enabling accurate and highly precise analysis. The present invention provides the storage container for a biomaterial for reducing sample loss of a biomarker included in the biomaterial, the container including on at least a portion of a surface thereof, a coating comprising a copolymer that contains a repeating unit having a group represented by formula (a), a repeating unit having a group represented by formula (b), and optionally a repeating unit having a group represented by formula (c).
