The strain has the classification and name of Lactobacillus plantarum and is preserved in the China General Microbiological Culture Collection Center (CGMCC) with the preservation number CGMCC No. 16441. The lactobacillus plantarum has acid resistance and bile salt tolerance capacity, high adhesivity to intestinal epithelium cell HT-29, and high acid and polysaccharide production capacity, and has faster acid production rate than other lactobacillus. Fermented dairy products, fermented cereal beverage, fermented soybean products, fermented mixed fruit and vegetable juice, and fermented feed prepared by the lactobacillus plantarum have special flavor, uniform texture, smooth and soft mouthfeel, and good sensory characteristics.
