The present invention relates to the technical field of gear structures, and particularly relates to a novel gear. The novel gear comprises a gear body; uniformly distributed toothlike protrusions are disposed at one end of the gear body; the multiple toothlike protrusions form a toothed surface, and a profiling tooth surface matching the toothed surface is provided at the other end of the gear body. Moreover, the profiling tooth surface is also formed by uniformly distributed toothlike protrusions, and the toothlike protrusions of the profiling tooth surface are in dislocation with the toothlike protrusions of the toothlike surface. The present invention provides a novel gear which is simple and stable in structure.
