USE OF AN AGAVE EXTRACT FOR ENHANCING THE BARRIER FUNCTION OF THE SKIN, SCALP AND/OR MUCUSA AND MODULATING THE SKIN MICROBIOTA

The present invention concerns the non-therapeutic cosmetic use of an agave extract for enhancing the barrier function of the skin, scalp and/or mucosa. The present invention also concerns a non-therapeutic cosmetic method for enhancing the barrier function of the skin, scalp and/or mucosa, comprising the application of an agave extract to the skin, scalp and/or mucosa. The present invention further relates to an agave extract for use of same for treating and/or preventing an inflammation of the skin, scalp and/or mucosa, linked to the presence of at least one microorganism chosen from Cutibacterium acnes, Malassezia restricta, Staphylococcus epidermidis and Malassezia sp. La présente invention se rapporte à l'utilisation cosmétique non thérapeutique d'un extrait d'Agave pour renforcer la fonction barrière de la peau, du cuir chevelu et/ou des muqueuses. La présente invention se rapporte également à un procédé cosmétique non thérapeutique pour renforcer la fonction barrière de la peau, du cuir chevelu et/ou des muqueuses, comprenant une application sur la peau, le cuir chevelu et/ou les muqueuses d'un extrait d'Agave. La présente invention se rapporte en outre à un extrait d'Agave pour son utilisation dans le traitement et/ou la prévention d'une inflammation de la peau, du cuir chevelu et/ou des muqueuses, liée à la présence d'au moins un micro-organisme choisi parmi Cutibacterium acnes, Malassezia restricta, Staphylococcus epidermidis et Malassezia sp.
