A liquid electrolyte lithium secondary battery cell having an operating voltage superior or equal to 4.4 v and inferior or equal to 4.5V, comprising a positive electrode including a powderous positive active material represented by the following chemical formula: Li1-x(Co1-a-b-cNiaMnbM"c)1+xO2 with -0.005≤x≤0.005, 0.02≤a≤0.09, 0.01≤b≤0.05, and 0.002≤c≤0.02, wherein M" is either one or more metals of the group consisting of Al, Mg, Ti and Zr; and a separator sheet having a porosity of at least 50% and inferior or equal to 60%, preferably of at least 55% and inferior or equal to 60%.
