Un pansement jetable forme un compartiment autour et au-dessus d'un site de plaie et un composé antimicrobien volatil peut se sublimer/s'évaporer dans le compartiment. Un élément chauffant est inclus dans le pansement, la chaleur stimulant la cicatrisation des plaies et accélérant simultanément la sublimation/l'évaporation du composé antimicrobien.
