ELECTRICAL CIRCUIT BREAKER

An electrical circuit breaker is provided which effectively extinguishes arcing occurring immediately after interrupting an electrical circuit. This electrical circuit breaker 600 is provided with a housing 300, a cut part 400 which is arranged inside the housing 300 and which configures part of the electrical circuit, a cutting member 511 which cuts the cut part 400, and a power supply P which is arranged on a first terminal 320 side of the housing 300, wherein: the electrical circuit breaker is provided with a moving body 500 where the cut part 400 is inserted into and housed and which comprises the cutting member 511 and a first arc extinguishing space X1 adjacent to the cutting member 511; the housing 300 is provided with a tube 310 which can move the moving body 500 between the first terminal 320 and a second terminal 330 on the side opposite of the first terminal 320; the moving body 500 is configured such that, while moving from the first terminal 320 towards the second terminal 330 by the drive force P, the cutting member 511, which is provided on the moving body 500, cuts the cut part 400; and an outside arc extinguishing space X3 of the moving body 500 is positioned between a separation piece 420 of the cut part 400, which is cut and removed when the moving body 500 moves, and a main body 430 of the cut part 400, which is not removed but remains in the housing 300.
