METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR MANAGING A NEW RECORD

A method and system of managing a new client record for a client record management system, including creating a new client record, comparing the new client record against at least an existing client record in a database, generating a table with a picklist, with the picklist presenting a suggested record, which is selected from an existing client record in the database, displaying the table and presenting the picklist for a confirmation by a user, and merging the new client record with the existing client record based on the confirmation by the user, where the picklist presents the suggested record based on a criterion, the criterion being a match in a field between the new client record and the suggested record. L'invention concerne un procédé et un système permettant de gérer un nouvel enregistrement client pour un système de gestion d'enregistrement de clients, ledit procédé consistant à : créer un nouvel enregistrement client ; comparer le nouvel enregistrement client à au moins un enregistrement client existant dans une base de données ; générer une table avec une liste de sélection, la liste de sélection présentant un enregistrement suggéré qui est sélectionné à partir d'un enregistrement client existant dans la base de données ; afficher la table et présenter la liste de sélection en vue d'une confirmation par un utilisateur ; et fusionner le nouvel enregistrement client avec l'enregistrement client existant d'après la confirmation de l'utilisateur, la liste de sélection présentant l'enregistrement suggéré d'après un critère, le critère étant une correspondance dans un champ entre le nouvel enregistrement client et l'enregistrement suggéré.
