A SCRUBBER

This invention relates to a scrubber and more particularly, but not exclusively, to a scrubber for scrubbing a gas or air stream. The scrubber includes a scrubber body with a flow path between an inlet and an outlet of the body. At least a part of the body is frusto conically shaped so that the flow path therein is also frusto conical. The frusto conical part of the body has at least part of an insert supported, with support means, therein. La présente invention concerne un épurateur et plus précisément, mais pas exclusivement, un épurateur à utiliser pour épurer un flux de gaz ou d'air. L'épurateur comprend un corps d'épurateur ayant un trajet d'écoulement entre une entrée et une sortie du corps. Au moins une partie du corps est de forme tronconique de telle sorte que le trajet d'écoulement à l'intérieur de celui-ci est également tronconique. Au moins une partie d'un insert est supportée, avec un moyen de support, à l'intérieur de la partie tronconique du corps.
