Zusammenfassung:	Obstacle lighting unit (1) and method for changing an obstacle lighting unit configuration Obstacle lighting unit comprising - at least one optical element (2) arranged for emitting light in a predetermined pattern; - a control unit (3) arranged to store the predetermined pattern and to control emitting of light of the optical element; - a light fixture (5) for mounting the obstacle lighting unit to an obstacle; - a transparent dome (4) arranged to be mounted over the optical element and arranged to be fixed to the light fixture, the transparent dome and the light fixture defining an inner space (6) of the lighting unit enclosing the optical element and the control unit, said inner space further comprising a wireless communication reader (8) arranged to receive a wireless signal from a wireless transmitter and transmit data contained in said signal to the control unit. L'invention concerne une unité d'éclairage d'obstacle (1) et un procédé de changement de configuration d'une unité d'éclairage d'obstacle, l'unité d'éclairage d'obstacle comprenant - au moins un élément optique (2) agencé pour émettre de la lumière selon un motif prédéterminé ; - une unité de commande (3) agencée pour stocker le motif prédéterminé et pour commander l'émission de lumière de l'élément optique ; - un appareil d'éclairage (5) pour monter l'unité d'éclairage d'obstacle sur un obstacle ; - un dôme transparent (4) agencé pour être monté sur l'élément optique et agencé pour être fixé à l'appareil d'éclairage, le dôme transparent et l'appareil d'éclairage délimitant un espace interne (6) de l'unité d'éclairage renfermant l'élément optique et l'unité de commande, ledit espace intérieur comprenant en outre un lecteur de communication sans fil (8) agencé pour recevoir un signal sans fil en provenance d'un émetteur sans fil et transmettre des données contenues dans ledit signal à l'unité de commande.
