OUTDOOR UNIT FOR AIR-CONDITIONING DEVICES

The purpose of the present invention is to provide an outdoor unit for air-conditioning devices that prevents water infiltrating from the outside from reaching an electrical component installed in the upper portion of a machine room, while securing air for cooling the electrical component. This outdoor unit for air-conditioning devices, which has a heat exchanger, an outdoor fan, a compressor, and an electrical component housed in a case, comprises: a main air path in which the outdoor fan and the heat exchanger are arranged; and a machine room in which the compressor and the electrical component are arranged. The case is equipped with a machine room side panel that constitutes the side surface of the outer shell of the machine room. The machine room side panel is equipped with vents that allow outside air to flow into the interior of the machine room and a shield that extends obliquely downward toward the inside of the machine room. The shield is located on the inside of the vent and the electrical component is disposed above the shield. Le panneau latéral du compartiment machines est muni d'orifices de ventilation permettant l'écoulement de l'air extérieur vers l'intérieur du compartiment machines, et d'un écran s'étendant obliquement vers le bas vers l'intérieur du compartiment machines.
