L'invention concerne un procédé consistant à déterminer, par un processeur, l'occlusion éventuelle de buses consécutives d'un appareil d'impression par un contaminant ; et, lorsqu'un nombre prédéterminé de buses consécutives sont occluses, à déclencher automatiquement une opération de nettoyage pour éliminer au moins partiellement le contaminant.
