APPLICATION ICON MANAGEMENT METHOD AND RELATED DEVICE

Disclosed in embodiments of the present invention are an application icon management method and a related device. The method comprises: detecting a first touch operation in a specified area in a desktop page of a terminal, the desktop page comprising a hidden icon bar, and the hidden icon bar comprising at least one uncommonly used icon; outputting the hidden icon bar in the desktop page according to the detected first touch operation to display the at least one uncommonly used icon; and if a management operation is detected in the hidden icon bar, managing the at least one uncommonly used icon according to the management operation. By means of the embodiments of the present invention, an uncommonly used icon can be hidden, thereby saving the icon display space on the desktop of a terminal and improving the application icon management efficiency.
