Zusammenfassung:	Disclosed are a method for triggering an alert event, and a related device. The invention employs infrared sensing technology and a communication state of an NFC card to determine whether a user leaves home or returns home. If it is determined that the user has left home or returned home, an alert event associated with an ID of the NFC card is acquired and displayed in the form of text on a display screen. The invention realizes triggering of an alert event according to a state of a user, thereby flexibly alerting the user to a related event for which no specific alert time has been set.
